Rob McKnight has slammed a pensioner who unleashed on the Prime Minister at a Newcastle pub. 

Scott Morrison was meeting with locals at Edgeworth Tavern when the man took him to task over a lack of funding for older Australians.

Rob McKnight said the man was “disrespectful” to “hurl abuse” at the Prime Minister.

“What we had was the PM, and I take my hat off to him here, because this guy was agitated,” Rob said.

“And the PM went ‘Okay, let’s have a conversation’. I don’t think the gentleman was ready for that.”
