‘Slogans vs policy’ – Jane Hume details plan to win voters back from One Nation
Deputy Opposition Leader and Senator Jane Hume says the Liberal Party needs to go to where everyday Australians are as the Liberals unveil their plan to combat Labor and One Nation.
She says her Party has the substance and policy voters need compared to One Nation as she claims Australia’s living standards have fallen backwards faster and further than any other developed nation.
“They’re great at slogans but not great at substance behind them,” she told Michael McLaren.
“Blowing the joint up isn’t going to improve your standards of living. It’s not going to improve the economy,” she added.
She’s also taken aim at the Albanese government’s current industrial relations framework for failing to boost productivity and living standards.
