There’s been a serious six vehicle crash in Brisbane’s north.

The crash involved truck and cars and happened around 12pm on Webster Road at Chermside West.

Witnesses described the scene as “intense”.

There was at least one person trapped.

Eight people were assessed and were in a stable condition, some taken to hospital.

One person has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.

All inbound lanes were shut earlier, with one lane since re-opening.

Forensic crash investigators are on the scene.
