Shane Warne is auctioning off his baggy green to raise money for the bushfire appeal.

The cap, a symbol of national pride, was worn throughout Warne’s 145-match Test career.

The top bid for the piece of sporting paraphernalia already sits at over $315,000, with all proceeds to be donated to the Australian Red Cross.

Shane Warne tells John Stanley he can’t believe the incredible response the auction has had.

“I’ve been blown away by the messages of support from everyone around the world.

“I’m very thankful for everyone that’s put their bids in.”
