Manly Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler has reflected on the changes in the game and how club has settled in after a slow start to the season.

“I think you constantly look at where the changes are, how the game has adapted you look at the physicality of the players, how the game is varying and obviously just sometimes rule changes,” he told Peter Psaltis and Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin on Wide World of Sports.

“You’ve got to be constantly looking where those changes are.

“The players these days, they are giants. They can run, really really quick.

“It’s still very physical, the physicality goes with the size, goes with the territory.”

Three Sea Eagles players, Tom Trbojevic, Reuben Garrick and Jason Saab, have scored more than 20 tries each for the season.

“I think it’s where the game’s at … I think you are going to see more and more.”
