A crowd in Coffs Harbour has been lucky enough to catch a a “humble” performance by Russell Crowe. 

The Oscar award-winning actor took to the stage at the Hoey Moey with Troy Cassar-Daley, treating patrons to a duet of My Gumbaynggirr Skies.

Cassar-Daley told Laurel, Gary & Mark the song was personally picked by Crowe.

“He said, ‘I really want to sing it because it mentions Coffs Harbour’ and the country he lives on. He was really, really gracious and humble last night to sing it with me.”
