Michael McLaren has warned the Opposition against trying to defy the laws of reality with their plan surrounding the net-zero target and the Paris Agreement.

He’s questioned if his government would keep the agreement in name only; isn’t it better to shred the agreement when One Nation is committed to leaving the agreement?

“Taylor still seems to think we can do a sort of Paris hokey-pokey where we put a general commitment in, whilst pulling the basis of it out,” he said.

“It’s entirely conceivable that voters will embrace the mob who plan to ditch the whole thing over the party that reckon we can stick with it but ignore its core raison d’etre,” he added.
