Reports several Manly players refuse to wear ‘pride jersey’
There are reports several Manly Sea Eagles players are refusing to wear a pride jersey for the upcoming contest against the Sydney Roosters.
Nine News rugby league reporter Danny Weidler says he has been told up to 7 players have “some form of objection” to wearing it.
It’s believed the players are considering not playing.
“I believe the only way out of it, is for Manly to let the players who don’t want to play, not play,” he told Neil Breen on Brisbane Live.
