Ray Hadley blasts prison bureaucrat’s plans to drop the word ‘inmate’

Ray Hadley has called out a NSW Justice bureaucrat for suggesting the label “inmate” no longer be used.
NSW Justice Classification and Placement Director Phil Hugill wrote in a LinkedIn post: “To be the change I want to see I’m starting by changing the name of the teams I lead by dropping the term Inmate from our name. Going forward my staff will work in the Classification and Placement Group.”
“If we include the murders of Anita Cobby, Janine Balding, the rapists, the bikies, the murderous bastards you’re dealing with – and you don’t want to call them inmates anymore?” Ray Hadley said.
“I’ll be raising this with the minister in charge to see whether this is the way the Liberal National Party thinks we should be running prisons.
“I’ve never heard so much bullsh*t in all my life.”
