A NSW man accused of laundering more than four million dollars has been charged by Queensland Police.

It’s alleged the 28-year-old was spotted acting suspiciously near a parked vehicle at Calamvale where he placed a large suitcase in the boot.

Police say after speaking to the man they discovered money wrapped in plastic inside two cases.

It’s also alleged the man failed to comply with COVID-19 directions to enter the state.

He was remanded in custody and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court next month.
