There’s been a record number of people cancelling their blood donation appointments in the lead up to Christmas.

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Donor Services Executive Director Cath Stone told Mark Levy there’s high demand and high cancellations.

“We need 9000 donors in the next 10 days – 2700 from NSW alone.”
