New data reveals rental supply in Brisbane is going down as demand and prices go up.

Supply in the River City declined by almost 18 per cent last year, while demand rose by 11 per cent, pushing prices up by 11 per cent.

Experts say integrate migration, that’s seen more than 238,000 people move to Queensland over the past three years, is behind the squeeze.

Professor of Finance at the University of Queensland Shaun Bond told Sofie Formica it’s a complex problem, with no easy solution.
