Australia’s road statistics have been revealed, and Queensland’s road deaths are trending above the national average.

According to the Australian Automobile Association report, in the last 12 months, 271 Queenslanders lost their lives due to traffic crashes.

Managing Director of the Australian Automobile Association, Michael Bradley, told Peter Gleeson on 4BC Drive, “It’s not a good story to be told anywhere in the numbers.”

“Queensland had a shocking year last year, it’s come down a little bit, but you’re still dealing with 271 families in Queensland who are dealing with the death of a loved one,” Mr. Bradley continued.
