The Queensland Police Service are placing emphasis on social media to monitor the behaviour of youth offenders. 

The Queensland Police Service is using social media to gather information and evidence to present offenders before the court.

QPS Assistant Commissioner George Marchesini told Peter Gleeson on 4BC Drive, “We’ve been able to intervene while the crime has been in progress and take action much earlier than we have in the past.”
