Queensland Health Minister tests positive for COVID-19

The state Health Minister has tested positive for COVID-19.
Yvette D’Ath confirmed on Twitter she is experiencing mild symptoms and will be working from home this week.
“I am grateful that I have received all of my vaccination shots,” she wrote.
“It is a timely reminder for all Queenslanders that COVID is still in our community.”

Queensland recorded 3797 cases of the virus on Monday, bringing the state total to 27,674.
A further two people have sadly died.
There are 233 people in Queensland hospitals with the virus with 19 in ICU.
