The family of a chronically-ill baby boy from Queensland has rejected an offer from health authorities to quarantine at Brisbane Airbnb.

Jessie Evans and Billy Blacker travelled to Sydney to acquire treatment for their ill four-month-old child, Rocka.

They were initially told by health authorities on return, Ms Evans and Rocka would be required to undergo quarantine in a Brisbane hospital while Mr Blacker.

Queensland Health has since made a compromise, offering the family the option to quarantine in a Brisbane Airbnb.

Ms Evans is still pushing for an exemption to isolate at their remote property on the Western Downs.
