Tom Dearden says it was a tough, physical game for last night’s State of Origin decider and it was hard to describe the moment he walked out onto the field.

Dearden, who made his Origin debut for Queensland, said it was incredibly special to hear that roar from the crowd.

“I’ve sat here and tried to reflect on the game, it’s obviously something I am still pinching myself I can’t  believe it’s actually happened and we actually won the game as well,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.

He said he had a clear message of what his job was, with JT telling him to get an early touch and get in the game straight away.
