Every Brisbane bus will be free to ride for two weekends in the leadup to Christmas.

Fees will be waived for everyone on all Brisbane City Council bus services from December 10 to 12 and December 17 to 19.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner told Neil Breen it’s about getting people moving around the city.

“We want to get people not only back out supporting businesses, back into the CBD, but also back onto public transport as well.

“That’s every single bus route if it’s a Brisbane City Council bus – not just going into the city, but every single bus service.”
