Psalty ‘flabbergasted’ by controversial idea to change to NRL rule

Peter Psaltis has questioned an idea reportedly being considered by the NRL which could extend games in a bid to tackle teams abusing the controversial set restart rule.
The Daily Telegraph reports the league is NRL is considering the change which would “stop teams intentionally giving away set restarts in the dying stages of games”.
The report says teams would have to play out their set of six when the clock has stopped.
“Even reading that sentence out has me flabbergasted, how is that going to stop set restarts?” Psalty questioned on Wide World of Sports.
“If the set restart is creating the problem – get rid of it! Simple, done, problem solved.”
