Prince Harry’s memoir has finally gone on sale across Australia after weeks of hype and multiple leaks.

While a few stores across Britain even opened at midnight to sell copies of Spare to diehard royal fans, it appears to have failed in getting much reaction on Aussie shores.

Dean Lane, the owner of Dymocks at Indooroopilly, told Greg Cary it hasn’t been all that busy today.

“It’s been steady,” he said. “Subdued but steady. I think in this day and age, that seems to be the way it plays out.

“It wasn’t a Harry Potter scene, I can assure you.”
