Premier blasted for ‘biggest load of garbage’ claims on federal spending

The Queensland Premier has been called out for making a “garbage” comparison on federal party leaders.

Annastacia Palaszczuk claimed at a Labor rally that Anthony Albanese would give more to Queensland than Scott Morrison.

“He has driven the length and breadth of our state, he’s not going to deny Queensland our fair share,” she said.

Neil Breen described the comments as “the biggest load of garbage anyone could possibly say”.

“Anthony Albanese … is already on record of saying he’s not going to grant the Premier her wish for the federal government to split health funding 50-50.

“He can’t afford it, so there’s one thing he’s going to deny you, and the health department’s in a shocking mess in Queensland!”

“On the Prime Minister and the federal government, Premier, aren’t they paying 50-50 for the Olympics? What about the pandemic?

“There was no difference given out to the people of Queensland. ”
