Premier apologises for Olympics meeting plus-one
The Premier has apologised for taking her partner to a meeting about the Brisbane Olympics.
Annastacia Palaszczuk came under fire this week after her partner, Reza Adib, was spotted in images taken with senior members of the International Olympics Committee this weekend.
It drew criticism from the state opposition, which described Dr Adib’s inclusion as “weird” and “inappropriate”.
Ms Palaszczuk this morning admitted while the gathering was more of an “informal chat”, she made a mistake by bringing him along.
