The Vatican has confirmed that the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has tragically died aged 88.

The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis’ funeral will be held on Saturday.

A Brisbane woman has reflected on meeting Pope Francis on a trip to Rome in 2023. 

Jesuit Priest, Reverend Doctor Richard Leonard, told Dean Miller on 4BC Afternoons, “He was a man who went where he thought Christ wanted us to go at this time in the church.”
