A driver who was being pursued by police has allegedly crashed into a shopfront in Fortitude Valley.

It’s believed officers suspected the car had stolen number plates and attempted to approach the driver.

It’s alleged the car collided with three other cars, before allegedly crashing into a camping store.

One man is in custody.
