Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred on the Gold Coast yesterday. 

Around 10.30am Sunday, a man entered a liquor store on the Gold Coast Highway at Palm Beach, produced a handgun and demanded cash.

He left the store with cigarettes and cash and fled the scene in a white Kia Picanto hatchback driven by another person.

The sales attendant was not physically injured.

Police are seeking information or dashcam vision from anyone who was in the vicinity.
