Police hunt for man who may be armed north of Brisbane
A school in Brisbane’s north was sent into lockdown earlier today as police continue to hunt for a man who may be armed.
Police were called to Mango Hill before 8.30am following reports of a serious assault.
A witness reported seeing a man with a gun.
Police are still searching for the man with the help of the dog squad and police helicopter.
Mango Hill State School was placed into lockdown as a precaution, that lockdown has since been lifted.

There are a number of streets in the area which are closed.
