A police dog has gone missing from Redbank Plains in the early hours of this morning. 

At around 3am, the dog squad was called to track an offender who allegedly ran from a stolen vehicle near Greenwood Village Road.

In the pursuit, Police Dog Quizz became separated from his handler.

While officers searched the surrounding area, they haven’t been able to find him.

Police are asking members of the community to let them know if PD Quizz is spotted.

However, they’re asking that PD Quizz is not approached.

He’s described as a three-year-old Sabel German Shepherd with a black and tan hide.

He’s wearing a black tracking harness with a long tracking lead.
