Police appeal for footage in alleged hit and run investigation
A Marsden man will face court today accused of killing another man during a road rage incident in Logan.
The 20-year-old was allegedly behind the wheel of a car on Friday afternoon when he fatally struck a 25-year-old at Browns Plains.
He’s been charged with murder and was denied police bail.
Police are seeking further witnesses or dashcam footage of the incident.
Two cars – a white Audi S3 and a silver-blue Toyota Camry – were allegedly involved, travelling between Brisbane north and Logan.
The vehicles predominately used the Clem 7 tunnel, Pacific Motorway and the Gateway Motorway between 2pm and 3pm.
It’s believed dashcam footage could show the vehicles driving either lawfully or erratically and together or separate during the hour-long period.
Any footage is sought by police, “no matter how insignificant they may seem”.

Ipswich Road exit of Clem 7 tunnel – outbound

M3/Pacific Motorway between Greenslopes and Eight Mile Plains Exit
Kuraby to Drewvale
M2/Gateway Motorway Wembley Road Exit
Any streets within the boundaries of Mount Lindesay Highway/Wembley Road/ Browns Plains Road
Sightings of damaged white Audi S3 – Browns Plains
Police are also seeking witness accounts or footage of the damaged white Audi S3, leaving the site of the alleged murder at the following times and locations within Browns Plains:
Wembley Road, between the intersection of Macquarie Way and Browns Plains Road
Browns Plains Road between Wembley Road and Fifth Avenue
