Interstate trains are beginning to see a renaissance as more and more people turn away from flying.

NSW Trainlink chief executive, Roger Weeks, says if Brisbanites have the time, rail is a great option.

“Usually, rail is probably a little more competitive price-wise than flying. But there’s also the other advantages, like not having to queue and go through security,” he told Gary Hardgrave.
