Why is Australia’s fertility rate falling?

An interesting report surfaced last week from the Bureau of Statistics which indicated that Australia’s fertility rate is at a record low, at 1.5 babies per woman in 2023.

Nataliya Iluyshina, Economist and Research Fellow at the Blockchain Innovation Hub at RMIT University, joined Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive to discuss why the fertility rate in Australia is falling.
