Why are 1 in 3 kids not playing sport?

A new survey by AusPlay has revealed that nearly 1 in 3 Queensland children are not playing any sport, with one of the most common reasons being the cost of living.

UQ’s Office of 2032 Games Engagement Director, John Cairney, joined Carla Bignasca on 4BC Afternoons to discuss how the costs of sports are stopping kids from participating, and why it’s a big concern for the future of sports in Australia.
