A lanky Graeme Wynn came from the Newcastle competition and waltzed into the premiership-winning Dragons side of 1979. Wynn starred in the decider against the Bulldogs, then continued that form into the inaugural State of Origin match in 1980, when he had a famous dust-up with the legendary Arthur Beetson. Graeme is now involved in the Dragons junior system and has helped bring on the careers of Matt Dufty, Luciano Leilua, Jacob Host, and others.
