What is the real cost of no foreign university students

The absence of international students is having a dramatic effect on more than just the national economy.

New modelling from the Mitchell Institute shows the number of international students will halve by mid 2021 if borders remain closed. The estimated loss is $10.7 billion annually with figures showing each international student contributes approximately $50,000 to the NSW economy alone.

The CEO of the International Education Association Phil Honeywood joins John Stanley to share how widespread the impact is and how many sectors it impacts.
