‘We don’t care how upset he is’: Joyce calls for Kevin Rudd’s removal as ambassador to the US

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will finally meet face-to-face with Donald Trump later this month and one of the big talking points will be Australia’s ambassador to the US, Kevin Rudd.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce has called for Kevin Rudd to be removed as the US Ambassador.

Joyce told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “We don’t care how upset Mr. Rudd is, it’s irrelevant.”

“He can go to another diplomatic post, he can go to London or France or Canada, the world’s a big place,” Mr Joyce said.
