Christmas is the time of giving and receiving gifts It’s also the time of year when lots of us like to donate to charity and give back to less fortunate people.

However, admit data leaks and scams that have been circulating this year, the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission are warning the public to be careful when giving to charity this Christmas.

It’s disappointing to hear that data breaches and fake charities are rising, and unfortunately, scammers are taking advantage of people’s goodwill.
