Vaccine to save citrus plants

Scientists are developing a vaccine-like solution to help citrus growers combat a destructive disease.

Citrus Tisteza Virus, usually spread via aphids, can kill trees or render them useless for production.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with University of Queensland principal research fellow Doctor Andrew Geering to hear more about the disease and how he’s working with industry to try and find a solution.
