Using data to predict rice quality

A model, that can predict the quality of rice at harvest time, could prove beneficial to other industries.

Charles Sturt University and SunRice are using data to better manage storage and milling processes – helping maximise returns.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with PhD Student Allister Clarke to hear more about the model and how it could eventually be applicable to other businesses.
