Three updates this week of popular models from Mazda, Audi and Skoda

David Berthon

This week, some updates arrived of popular models – firstly, Mazda’s mid-sized CX-5 SUV, still highly popular some ten years after its initial launch – Mazda claim it brings even more equipment,  a refined driving experience from a more rigid body and greater technology and safety elements – now starting from $32,190 with increases of $800 to $1300.

From Audi, a re-engineered small A3 range, the fourth generation arrives after a delay due to Covid 19 issues and chip shortages.

It brings a big leap in technology most of which from the new A6 model plus a more refined mechanical package – however, with much dearer pricing from $46,300. From Skoda, a new 7-seat Kodiaq SUV range with revised styling and technology – three all-wheel-drive models now all petrol powered including a new top line RS variant with 180kW at $74,990 drive-away.
