Every day, thousands of Australians struggling with addiction are waiting for a limited number of spots in drug and alcohol treatment.

Bill Woods speaks with Professor Dan Lubman, Clinical Director of Turning Point & a professor of addiction studies at Monash University, who like many is frustrated that finding treatment for addiction could be likened a “lottery”.

“We have desperate individuals and families really looking out for support for somebody who has a genuine health condition,” says Professor Lubman.
