The state of Aussie tourism

Michael is joined by Margy Osmond, Tourism & Transport Forum Australia Chief Executive, to find out where Australia’s tourism industry currently stands as our borders are still closed to international visitors leaving domestic tourism as the only lifeline for an industry crippled by coronavirus.

 

To make matters worse, Queensland, South Australia, The Northern Territory and Western Australia though largely having contained the virus, still maintain it’s too early to allow in visitors from New South Wales and Victoria which have been responsible for about 90% of Australia’s new infections in the past two weeks.
