The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee & legacy

Clinton Maynard

Michael is joined by Rob Harris, Europe correspondent for The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age, who has been reporting extensively on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Mr Harris writes “the Queen was on Sunday greeted by huge cheers from a massive crowd outside Buckingham Palace and treated to a rousing rendition of God Save The Queen as British flag-themed smoke was fired into the air to end her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.”

“Dressed in green, the 96-year-old monarch smiled and waved as she was joined by Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their children.”
