The fallout from the historic federal election result is continuing to heat up.

Labor’s internal brawls have spilled into public view, with Ed Husic calling Richard Marles a “factional assassin”, and the Liberal leadership fight is turning ugly.

Daily Mail Australia Political Editor Peter Van Onselen has raised concerns about the Coalition leadership race, saying, “All four of them are regional, and my worry is that the Liberals need to win seats in the city to win their way back.”

“I would like to see a member of the leadership team from the city.”
