The Aussie going above and beyond to help Ukraine

John Stanley

John Stanley talks to James Spencely, the founder of Vocus Group and former owner of the Illawarra Hawks.

James has made three separate trips this year to volunteer in Ukraine, donating ambulances, medical aid equipment and drones to help locals as the country continues to fight back against the Russian invasion.

James highlights what it’s like to travel to a war-torn country and what inspired him to make these trips.

James expresses how “everyone is ready to die in Ukraine for the cause” and how they’re “not fighting for the people of Ukraine now, they’re fighting so that their kids grow up in a free Ukraine”.

James is heading back to Ukraine in October, and you can follow his journey on Twitter.
