Suzuki’s Evergreen Swift Hatchback – It’s been around a while but a great buy
Some car models just keep marching on and one that comes to mind is Suzuki
small Swift – the small Japanese hatchback seems to have been around forever.
I was asked recently by a friend what light car should I buy and the Swift
immediately came to mind – a small five-door hatch with a big reputation – sales
September year-to-date up a healthy 60 percent despite its longevity – very nicely
equipped it’s the No.2 selling light car this year behind the MG3. Priced from
$23,990 drive-away for the entry manual Swift GL with automatic another $2,000
this is a small five door hatchback that ticks all the boxes – safe, well specified
and well-built with Japanese quality, excellent fit and finish and five-star safety –
the automatic offering economy from as low as 4.8L/100km. Yes, it’s been around
a while but a great light car buy.
