Suzuki Ignis SUV – The most affordable SUV on the market

David Berthon

I recently made a recommendation to a friend who wanted to downsize to a small
hatch to have a look at Suzuki’s small Ignis SUV – I didn’t give it any more
thought until she rang me absolutely delighted with her purchase. This small 1.2-
litre high-riding Suzuki hit the market in 2015, was updated in 2020 with a minor
facelift and kicks off in GL five-speed manual for just $22,490 drive-away with
CVT automatic another $1,000. The better-equipped GLX automatic $26,490 drive-
away with the top-line Ignis Shadow automatic $27,990 drive-away. The Ignis a
perfect first car for teenagers but for retirees offers a higher hip point for ease of
entry and exit and has all the safety elements, apart from autonomous emergency
braking. Cheap to run and insure and the perfect car for around town use if you’re
not doing long distances.
