School student agriculture survey

Rural News

A new study has identified a lack of agricultural knowledge among Australian school students.

Many are only able to recognise traditional roles such as farmer and beekeeper as jobs in agriculture.

Rural Reporter Brady Evans caught up with CQ University’s Agri-tech Education and Extension research team head Doctor Amy Cosby to discuss the findings.
