‘Rogue drivers’: Taxi council responds to fair related rorts
A recent influx of customer complaints have poured in, claiming taxi drivers have been taking advantage of passengers during busy periods in Brisbane.
The CEO of the Taxi Council of Queensland, Blair Davies, told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons, “They’re trying to extort customers for larger sums of money, and it’s not on.”
“What we need to do as a community of customers of taxis is to say, you’re not going to get away with it. We’re not going to stand for it.” Davies continued.
