River level data technology helping keep farmers hAPPy

A mobile phone app is putting river level data at the fingertips of landholders to assist during floods and drought.

The Rivers Near Me platform takes information from Water New South Wales and puts it in the hands of farmers with the touch of a map.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with Charles Sturt University’s Doctor Darren Yates to hear more about the handy tool, and potential plans to include other states and territories.
