Rats go hungry after restaurants close

Restaurants are closed, and the rats have no scraps to eat. They’re venturing out in search of other food sources, and Sydney-siders are seeing more rats than they otherwise would.

According to Steve Beale from Insight Pest Control, rats are getting smarter and harder to catch using traditional methods. Professor Peter Banks from the University of Sydney also joins John Stanley to discuss why these critters are turning heads in so many unexpected places.
