Queensland Police ramp up enforcement on legal e-scooter and e-bike use

The Queensland Police Service are finally cracking down on E-scooter and E-bike riders that do not adhere to the rules.

Acting Chief Superintendent Garrath Channels told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “It’s everyone’s responsibility, particularly parents, to understand that e-scooters are only able to be ridden lawfully in Queensland at a maximum speed of 12 kilometres an hour.”
